My name is Barbara Lester, and I live on the coast in Washington state.  I am a schoolteacher, mother of three boys, and grandmother of two.  I have always enjoyed exposing children to the process of art and have always believed that the process is always more important than the product.  I’ve dabbled in many different art forms, but was recently introduced to the art of glass fusing.  I love watching pieces of colored glass transform into something beautiful, but especially love the experimental phase of the procedure.  I am inspired to experiment with different types of glass, using different shapes, colors, and textures to create pieces that are definitely one-of-a-kind.  I hope you enjoy my pendants as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
